women's ministry

Encouraging, supporting and ministering to you...right where you are!

Our mission: to be mindful of God's special creation in every woman; to reach out in love to help others grow in their spiritual gifts; to help equip each other to know more about and grow closer to God.

A Women's Ministry Steering Team of 5-6 ladies has been seated in order to facilitate planning and coordination of events.  Each position makes use of a specific group of gifts and graces.  The women, their contact information, and their current responsibilities are:

annual retreat

The women of Foundation schedule a yearly retreat to foster relationships and encourage spiritual growth.

For 2018, the retreat is booked at CedarBrake Renewal Center for Friday-Saturday, September 7-8th.

We are excited to have Evelyn Davison as our very special guest speaker.  Our key verse for the weekend is Psalm 17:8, "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings",  As part of the program, we will be taking a personality test, which will help us understand how we have been uniquely created by a loving heavenly Father.

The price is $80.00, which includes one night in hotel-style quarters, three full meals with snacks, and  retreat materials.

For more information, or to be a part of the retreat team, contact Kellie Tiner.

SPECIAL EVENTS

LADIES SPRING BRUNCH

Saturday, April 21st, 10am-noon

This is a time set apart to celebrate as women all the relationships that God has put in our lives....mothers, daughters, sisters, bosses, co-workers, friends...the guest list can be as varied as the women we walk through life with.  Debbie Frazee was our guest speaker, bringing a wealth of Biblical knowledge along with a passion for teaching others.  A delicious brunch was served, and our table hostesses had the space decorated with their finest.  We look forward to having this event again next year.
