Foundation Kids strives to partner with parents and equip them to be the primary disciplers of their own children so that kids will know Jesus, understand their place in His story, and want to follow His example.

We want children to GROW in their walks with Christ and then GO out and serve the world in His name.

We offer many activities and events throughout the year.

While we believe the most effective spiritual education begins in the home, we happily offer supplemental classes that foster Biblical knowledge and character development on the path to true discipleship. Our classes incorporate object lessons, games, free play centers, crafts and more. We offer classes for the following age groups: PreK Threes-Fives; Kinder-1st; 2nd-5th grade. All classes meet from 9-9:50am. Parents should check-in electronically at the kiosk in the Riley Center foyer before bringing their children to their classrooms. Please create an account before your first visit if possible:

While we at Foundation encourage worshiping together as a family and welcome children of all ages into our sanctuary (noises and wiggles and all), we also understand that many of you have a genuine need to connect with the sermon without distraction. During the 10am service, your children ages 4-2nd grade will have the option to leave before the sermon. We'll head next door to the Riley Center for an engaging and age-appropriate message, and we'll bring your children back to you during the offering song. We ask that you use a KidCheck kiosk before worship begins, so they will have a nametag affixed before coming forward for the children's moment. If they also attended Sunday School, that nametag will suffice.

Join us for CrossTraining, our midweek discipleship program for kids Birth-5th grade. Children will worship, pray, and serve together as they learn to be the head, heart, and hands of Christ.

Children may be checked in beginning at 5:50pm and picked up by 7:35pm in the following locations:

    • Two & under: Life Center nursery
    • PreK Threes-Fives: Riley Center 104
    • Kinder-1st: RC 103
    • 2nd-3rd: RC 105
    • 4th-5th: RC 106

There are occasional Wednesdays off, so please be sure and check the calendar linked at the top of this page. Guests are always welcome! Please create a KidCheck account before your first visit, if possible:

We strive to provide a safe and caring environment where children receive their first glimpse of the love of their heavenly Father. We are a very family-oriented church and encourage parents to keep their kids in worship with them whenever possible. However, we also understand that there are times parents would prefer the opportunity to worship and study with the community without distraction. Our nursery accommodates children aged 0-3 and is open during both worship services and during the Sunday School hour. Due to program growth, three year olds should now be checked in to Riley Center 104 on Sunday mornings.

    What We Offer

    • Focused play
    • A variety of age-appropriate toys and books
    • Small snacks (please note we are a PEANUT FREE zone)
    • Engaging Sunday School lesson incorporating music and movement

    What to Bring

    • Diapers or pull-ups
    • An extra set of clothes

What to Expect for Nursing Mothers

Mothers may nurse wherever they are most comfortable. If you desire a more private environment in which to nurse, please feel free to step in and use the gliders in our infant room.

For your convenience, there are infant changing tables and toddler potty seats in both the men's and women's restrooms in the Life Center. If you have any questions about our nursery policies, please contact Trish Tucker, our Nursery Manager.

Children who participate in any activities with Foundation United Methodist Church must fill out a medical release form every year. The safety of the children in our care is very important to us. Please download the form, fill it out, and return it to Sharon.
